Sugar Ray Robinson Walker Smith Jr., was born on 3 May, 1921 and died on 12 April,1989. Sugar Ray Robinson was a professional boxer. Frequently cited as the greatest boxer of all time. Sugar Ray Robinson was a fluid boxer who possessed a quick jab and knockout power. Sugar Ray Robinson possessed tremendous versatility—according to boxing analyst Bert Sugar, “Robinson could deliver a knockout blow going backward.” In Robinson’s last years, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Sugar Ray Robinson died in Los Angeles at the age of 67.
